How The World Would Look Like If Everyone Were Vegan Or Vegetarian (VIDEO)
Here’s how the world would look like if everyone were vegan or vegetarian. This video offers us the answer to a question not many people ask themselves. At least not often enough. Usually, meat eaters will judge vegans and vegetarians for their lifestyle, but without knowing it (on both parts), not eating meat is one of the best things you can do for the planet.
No matter what your reasons may be to stop eating meat, saving the planet should be something we should all fight for. According to latest stats, 3% of the American population is fully vegan/vegetarian. Just take a moment and imagine how different the world would be if 20% of the population were to be vegan/vegetarian. How about 50%? Can you imagine the difference you’ll notice in people’s daily routines?
Well, now imagine how the world we live in today would like like if everybody were to be vegan/vegetarian. We sure can! What an amazing place that would be, especially if we were all doing this with the common goal of saving the planet.
If meat-eaters were to be a thing of the past, Earth would have a whole lot more land that could be restored to grasslands and forests, making an instant difference to the air we all breathe. Climate change would slowly start to be counteracted because livestock production amounts for approximately 15% of global greenhouse emissions. These factors are all huge contributors to global warming.
Although eating less meat, or no meat at all is proven to have health benefits, it will take a lot of time before we could actually see a world without meat eaters – a world where no one will hate vegans and vegetarians. Even so, just by reducing the quantity of meat we all eat, the greenhouse emissions will drop and so will global warming.
Remember people, we are all sharing a planet so we all have to contribute to its well-being! Let’s make an effort to eat less meat and make a difference for the better, for the future!
