Now it is true that most of us who have dogs, pretty much buy and feed them their own personalized food. But all of us can agree, especially those who haven’t properly trained our dogs, that they eat pretty much everything.

You know of what I’m talking about. When we’re at the dinner table, enjoying our meal and suddenly we feel something moving underneath. Sometimes a tail or sometimes a head plops in our laps looking at us with those big watery eyes, begging for what we’re having.

And more often than not and just for a split second when we’re not looking, a big piece of steak goes missing from just in front of us. Nevertheless, we sometimes feel sorry for those poor doggies and give them a taste from our own dinner table or even feed them all of the leftovers from the Thanksgiving table.

But the problem is that our furry friends are not like us when it comes to food. Even if they gulp up pretty much everything without even looking or taking a breath, some of the foods we enjoy so much aren’t so good for them. Some are even quite dangerous and can lead to severe and sometimes even fatal complications.

We have to take care especially when it comes to fruit since dogs are pretty much carnivores. Now even if they can eat them and most of the time even enjoy’em, some can be quite harmful towards their health. While blueberries for example have no effect on dogs, grapes and raisins on the other hand can cause kidney failure.

Now in order for you to know what is safe for dogs to eat and what’s not, here’s this info graphic depicting all sorts of ordinary foods we normally eat and what effects they have on our furry friends.
