The Caveman diet, or officially known as the Paleo diet is the way people before the invention of agriculture were eating. This off course meant eating plenty of meat, but it also involved eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. We also have to take into account that, when winter came, their diet was mostly based on meat, they had to go and catch it, and could go literally for days without food before they could have something to eat.
Now, cavemen also didn’t eat so many grains as we do today, and our bodies still aren’t accustomed to eating so much of them. What does this mean? Well, if you want to follow this diet, to follow in the steps of our ancestors, you have to keep in mind that there will be no bread, pastry or anything processed.
In order to make it easier for you to understand what this diet implies, just take a look at the infographic below and see some statistics about the caveman diet and how people have changed their foods throughout the ages.
