Take a tour of the dark and scary nightclubs of the 1920’s in Paris and you’ll never be afraid to party ever again, no matter how gruesome a club may look like. You won’t even care what kind of people frequent a place or another after watching this remarkable archive photo gallery.
The Cabaret de l’Enfer (aka Cabaret of Hell) and the Cabaret du Neant ( aka Cabaret of Nothingness) were to of the most popular nightclubs of 1920’s Paris, and this really gives you an insight about the French capital during the interwar period.

If we didn’t know any better, we could easily say that these clubs were full of people worshiping the Devil and not at all by the Parisian Bourgeois of the 1920’s. These nightclubs were a place of gathering, a place where the eccentric French elite talked about current affairs and where they came together as sinners who love to party.
Hmmm, kind of makes you miss the good old days of clubbing, doesn’t it?
