It was a very strange time to live in in Paris, a place where numerous dark and scary nightclubs opened and people were simply stunned by the sinister and macabre that lied inside these Parisian basements.

If we didn’t know any better, we could easily say that these clubs were full of people worshiping the Devil and not at all by the Parisian Bourgeois of the 1920’s. These nightclubs were a place of gathering, a place where the eccentric French elite talked about current affairs and where they came together as sinners who love to party.
