Austrian street artist, Nychos is recognized world wide for his unique style with distinct anatomical explosions as subject matter. He become famous through his unique style of combining art with anatomy. This can be seen in many of his murals, depicting various animals doing all sorts of actions and showing their innards. Street Anatomy, as the series is called, can easily be classified as a sort of bizarre for of art.

Growing up in a hunting family, he was no stranger to seeing the insides of animals. Being also born in the 1980’s, he had a direct contact with cartoons and heavy metal music, which all combined seem to result to this.

He has also founded an art collective and studio space in Vienna with the very clever and fun name of Rabbit Eye Movement.

“I always saw the Rabbit Eye Movement as an Homage to all the “Rabbits” out there being active in the urban art Movement – doesn’t matter what kind of mission they are following.”

Street Anatomy is not something meant to be gory and in bad taste; instead it is aimed, maybe to show ordinary people walking down the street, these animals are real, flesh and blood, just like us. They are not just things which we can eat or take advantage of, but instead learn from and relate ourselves with them and see ourselves as part of the link and not above it.
