Russia is today one of the very few countries in the world that does not have an outside debt. However, things were at a point not so bright for them.
During the time of the Soviet Union, life was harsh for all inhabitants. The strict Soviet rule and the consequences of the Cold War had severe impacts on the economy and financial possibilities of Russians and also their economy.
The strict measures applied so that the country will economically survive affected all areas of the industry, even production of toys. Recently found pictures, reveal plans of toys made out of potatoes.
