Born in Poland in 1971, award-winning photographer, Tomasz Gudozowaty began his career with nature photography before changing his focus to documenting uncommon, non-commercial sports. More recently however he released a photo essay entitled Shaolin Temple where it depicts the daily lives and arduous Kung Fu training the men go through every day.

These powerful yet calming images depict these Shaolin monks and how calm they look when they train to become some of the world’s most powerful warriors. The different types of exercises, like walking on walls or striking water are just something that ever monk there knows how to do. Standing upside down seems like something ordinary and meditating o a cliff-face relaxing. It most likely is.

We hope you enjoy these photos and please let us know what you think.
