Russian artist by the name of Waldemar von Kazak who lives in a small town between Moscow and St. Petersburg is designing some very surreal and quite amazing pieces of art and controversial drawings. He is able to mix up sexual tension with all sorts of bizarre characters in order to capture the viewer’s attention and interest.

After several years working as a designer, he eventually returned to what he liked the most; drawing. “I left the art college long ago. for years I worked hard as a designer. I was engaged in packing, Advertising polygraphy and book design. But at some point I wanted to draw again. Today I am an illustrator.” he said in an interview for Pinup Arena.

“I began to draw after an unsuccessful contact with a large iron swing when i was small. I was treated for a long time, I didn’t see the whole year in my left eye. But after that I began to draw.”

He originally did his entire works on a tablet, but more recently he shifted to using pencil and paper for most of the work and only adding in colors and some details on his computer.

Nevertheless, his works of art are stunning and his controversial drawings make you look at them for a long time, mesmerized by what you see. Some depict different social issues in our society or in relationships between couples while others are just beautiful sci-fi pin-up works of art.controversial-drawings-1
