Plans have already been put in place for London to be the home for the tallest and longest tunnel slide in the world. Built by Anish Kapoor, the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower will be built in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The slide will wind and bend through the tower, with five times and will have a final 50 meter straight shoot to the end. The entire slide will be 178 meters long and will take roughly 40 seconds to complete at speeds of 15 mph. It will also feature some clear parts in order for the people riding it to take glimpses of the construction in some key points.
The slide is expected to be built in the spring of 2016.
