We all know that kids are liars. We either have our own and see it every day or we were kids at some point and we did it ourselves extensively. Now, when a kid gets hurt, ling is taken to a whole new level, especially in front of the parents. But each parent gets his or hers set of lies, depending on whom they are addressed to.
The mom gets some of the most tragic news possible, knowing that she’ll take care of us and pamper us beyond measure. Now this is the case for most moms; not mine. If you get a cold or feel one setting in, you immediately act as if you are about to die. Everything hurts, you’re dizzy and can’t even stand up. This is especially when we have school that day.
For dads on the other hand, things are a bit different. We know that if we overreact, or just tell them exactly what happened, they’ll most likely make fun of us for being a wuss.
