This is the Maserati Cipollini BOND road bike, just unveiled by two Italian household names, who decided to group up for the Rouler Classic event. Luxury supercar maker Maserati and one of the best cycling sprinters of all time, Mario Cipollini, have created the Maserati Cipollini BOND road bike that will go on auction for Action Medical Research.
The price for this Maserati Cipollini BOND road bike is $6,500 and designers managed to reach this amount at a silent auction, given the bicycle’s uniqueness. The bicycle is signed by Mario Cipollini himself, and was the focus point of the entire event, gathering thousands of visitors into the Maserati Lounge.
The Maserati Cipollini BOND road bike is done in a blue and white paint, showing off the Rouleur Classic and Maserati brands. The bike is equipped with a Shimano Ultegra mechanical groupset, with a standard 53/39 chain set and 11-23 cassette.
One of the bicycle’s main attractions are the wheels which are Fast Forward F2A alloy clinchers, majestically wrapped around in Challenge Foste Race 25 mm rubber. The seat is a Selle San Marco Aspide saddle, while the handlebars were made by Ritchey, all to create a two-wheel masterpiece: The Maserati Cipollini BOND road bike!
