Few things can make Chernobyl look creepier than infrared photography. This we found out. The town of Pripyat, Ukraine, is the place where the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant disaster took place and since then, the entire area has been abandoned.

People can visit Pripyat with guides, but even now the radiation levels are higher than most places on Earth. This is why it’s never a good idea to visit Chernobyl, unless you are an adventurer with a thirst for exciting things.

Vladimir Migutin is one of those fearless daredevils who decided to go to Pripyat and photograph it in a different way. Through his unique infrared photography style, we are able to see this apocalyptic area with a whole new set of eyes.
