The internet is a perfect breeding ground for all types of conspiracy theories. From many that are just stupid and funny to some that promote ignorance and an unhealthy distrust between people and even entire societies. With the help of the guys at In a Nutshell, we are able to provide you with a Conspiracy Debunker system, able to destroy, not all, but many conspiracy theories out there.

The Conspiracy Debunker system itself is very simple. You just need to ask yourself one single question. Does it affect the rich / powerful people in the society? If the answer is yes, then the conspiracy is most likely false.

Let’s try it out on a few examples, shall we?

1. A secret cure for cancer already exists.

Many people around the world strongly believe that pharmaceutical companies have already developed a working cancer cure, but are unwilling to disclose it to the public because it will hurt their profits. The only people that get it though, are only the very rich and powerful in our society.

Well, this might have been true if the very rich and powerful people would suddenly all stop dying from cancer. This off course is not true. Just look at the former CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs. He was rich, he was powerful, he was part of society’s elite and yet he still died of cancer.

2. Chemtrails

This theory is even more far fetched than the previous one. People believe that many airplanes flying up there spray chemicals in the air for population control or whatever other sinister reason.

The big question here is if the really powerful people in the world breathe air? Do people like Obama or Putin breathe the same air as we do, or do they have their own special supply, holding their breath when they’re outside?

 3. The end is nigh!

We’ve all heard all sorts of crazy and insane stories and conspiracies revolving around the end of the world. Things like the Antichrist, the Mayan Calendar, aliens, asteroids or simply because someone says so.

Do the really rich and powerful ignore the very imminent Apocalypse? If the answer is yes, then the world will not end in a blink of an eye. However they do ignore signs like climate change and global warning, but this is no longer a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact.

This Conspiracy Debunker system obviously doesn’t work for every single conspiracy out there, but it surely weeds out a lot of the most stupid and absurd ones. So, the next time someone tries to convince you that the Illuminati put stuff in your water, just tell them about this method.
