These 21 rare historic moments captured in photos are truly a sight to see, considering that just the fact of these images existing is a miracle in itself. These photos were taken back when photography was in its initial developing phases, or when photography wasn’t quite that accessible to everybody.

Most of the information we know about history is based on old writings, paintings, drawings, buildings and archaeological discoveries. However, rarely do we come across pictures of something that happened approximately two centuries ago. While not all of these 21 historic moments captured in snaps are that old, some of them are simply amazing because they represent an iconic moment in time, or they portray important people that contributed in changing the course of history as we know it.
