These 1950’s sexist ads are being reversed to show a different perspective about how the world could have looked like almost 70 years ago. These ads are basically turning the world upside down, one sexist ad at a time.

Eli Rezkallah is a photographer and video editor from Beirut, Lebanon, who decided to create this series of reversed vintage ads called “In A Parallel Universe”. “Last Thanksgiving, I overheard my uncles talk about how women are better off cooking, taking care of the kitchen, and fulfilling “their womanly duties,” Eli Rezkallah writes on his official website.

“Although I know that not all men are like my uncles and think that way, I was surprised to learn that some still do, so I went on to imagine a parallel universe, where roles are inverted and men are given a taste of their own sexist poison,” the photographer added.
