Andrew Hou is a South Korean artist who started drawing cute little illustrations about what love is and about how much he loves his wife. Words are usually not enough. This is why the most talented use drawings to express their feelings.
At the beginning, he sent every illustration via SMS, because he felt it was easier to explain his feelings this way. When he started gathering a large collection of love illustrations, he created a blog called HJ-story, after his wife’s initials.
Although it started off as a personal blog, one of the artist’s friends managed to spread the word and ‘Love Is:’ became internationally known.
The loving couple got married in 2013 and Andrew never stopped drawing his amazing illustrations, demonstrating his undying love to his wife, one drawing at a time. The ‘Love Is:’ series is full of day-to-day activities couples usually do, and that’s why it relays to most people who are currently in love.
Love is… growing old with you…
It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to let someone know what you feel for them. Go crazy from time to time and say what you feel. What does love mean to you? How do you express it?
